Scriptures: Colossians 3:10–17 & Luke 7:36–50
“The Calming Fruit of Gentleness” Gentleness and Mary…We think of courage and boldness as saving lives; but we rarely think of gentleness as doing so. Sometimes it takes both courage and boldness to be gentle. Gentleness is better look at in terms of it being “power under control”. A fruit of the spirit that has the power to change those who use it, receive it and witness it. ~ Rev. John Barbone, Pastor Emeritus

Scriptures: 2 Timothy 4:9–18 & Mark 14:43–52
“The Obedient Fruit of Faithfulness” Faithfulness & Mark…Mark might be an unusual example of faithfulness, but one with who we can all relate. He experienced great fear, rejection and interpersonal relationship failures, yet still, with eyes on the WAY of Christ, we can learn much from his faithfulness. ~ Rev. John Barbone, Pastor Emeritus |
